NIKE IS BEING SUED…
Sneaker companies are getting sued left and right.
A couple of months ago, it was Bape. Last week was Adidas. And now Nike is on the chopping block.
Why? Because a customer (Maria Ellis) is claiming Nike is greenwashing their marketing to boost profits.
What is greenwashing? When companies deceive customers into paying premiums for eco-friendly products that aren’t eco-friendly.
And according to Maria’s claims, Nike is dripping in false advertising.
Here are 3 reasons why the customer is suing Nike:
Misleading product labels. Maria claims Nike is falsely pushing terms like “Sustainability” and “Made with recycled fibers” on their labels.
Green imagery. Nike wrongly uses imagery like green plants and cartoon characters to create advertisements for its “Sustainability” collections on social.
Unrealistic claims. Maria says Nike’s specific wording like “recycled nylon yard reduces our carbon emissions by up to 50%” cannot be proven.

What makes this lawsuit important is trust.
As the years go on, sustainable products will become the norm. And important brands keep their claims honest.
I don’t know whether Nike is up to bs or not. But I will be following the story to see what happens.

From all the drops that I found - here are the top 5 picks for Yeezys that could be released soon:

This would be the 3rd colorway in the growing MX lineup (Oat and Black are the other colorways).
Everyone loved the prison Orange Yeezy slides, why wouldn’t they like a highlighter Blue pair?
There’s already an Onyx (black) colorway, but these also have home run potential.
A Pirate Black restock has been in the pipeline for 2 years. And of all these sneakers - they’re the most likely to drop again.
